The SBJWC is a local chapter of the General Federation of Woman's Clubs, one of the world's largest and oldest nonpartisan, nondenominational, women's volunteer service organizations. Established in January 2011, we began as a small group of women who were looking to be a part of something bigger than ourselves and give back to the community.
Since then we have:
Awarded over $65,000 in scholarships to graduating high school seniors
Helped domestic violence shelters with Rainbow Services
Provided food for children in need with Community's Child and the Volunteer Center-South Bay
Helped Senior Citizens through South Bay Village
Funded dental and mental health through South Bay Children's Health Center
Provided care to our troops through Blue Star Mothers....and there is so much more we can do with your help!
